  • Puberty

    The normal process of change from a child into a reproductive adult. For women it involves development of breasts and pubic hair as well as enlargement of the uterus, widening of the hips and an increase in body fat.

  • Subclinical

    Indicating a condition cannot be observed or detected without doing specific tests. For example, “Anovulation may be subclinical and occur in regular menstrual cycles.”
