  • Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs)

    These are medications that block prostaglandin production and therefore treat menstrual cramps.

  • Normal luteal phase range

    Describes the pattern of expected progesterone levels after ovulation in the normal menstrual cycle. This provides the guide for the amount of progesterone used for treatment of heavy flow, hot flushes and breast tenderness.
